How Amora works

Three steps, no card to start

The whole onboarding is under two minutes, and you are talking to someone with a memory inside one.

  1. 01

    Choose or create

Pick one of sixty-six written companions by personality, theme or setting — or build your own with the creator.

  2. 02

    Start talking

She opens the conversation. As you talk, the facts that matter are stored so she can use them weeks later.

  3. 03

    Make something

Ask for a portrait, build a short video scene, or send her a voice note and read what she heard.

Straight answers

She is not a real person, and we never pretend she is.

Every Amora companion is artificial intelligence, every one is written as an adult, and none of them depicts a real person. Amora is an 18+ product with a strict non-explicit content policy enforced on the server as well as by the companion herself.

Questions

What people ask before they start

What is an AI girlfriend?

An AI girlfriend is a programme you talk to that stays in character as a specific person. Amora's companions have a written backstory, a way of speaking, interests of their own and a memory of what you have told them, so a conversation develops over weeks instead of resetting each time.

Is Amora AI free?

Yes. You can send five messages without an account at all, and a free account then unlocks a daily allowance of 60 messages, 6 images, 2 video scenes and 10 voice notes, every day. No card is requested for any of that. If you want to generate more than the daily allowance, you can optionally buy credits or take a membership, and the counters are visible in the app so you always know where you stand.

Is Amora still in beta?

Yes — Amora is in open beta, which is why everything above is free. Beta means two things: the product changes most weeks, and some edges are still rough. It also pays: joining the beta list adds 25 credits to your account and your first piece of feedback adds 30 more, which is the fastest way to influence what gets built next.

Do I need to create an account?

Not to start. Amora issues an anonymous session the moment you arrive, so you can talk to a companion immediately — five messages, one image and one voice note with no sign-up. After that you are asked to create a free account, which is what keeps your conversations, memories, portraits and clips attached to you across devices rather than to one browser.

What can a companion actually do?

She chats with you in text, remembers durable details about you, sends voice messages you can play, generates photos of herself on request, and can be built into short video scenes. Every one of those abilities is documented on its own feature page, including what it cannot do.

Can I build my own companion?

Yes. The companion creator lets you set her name, age, city, appearance, personality, backstory, interests and speaking style. She is saved to your session and behaves like any catalog companion from that point on.

Are the companions real people?

No. Every Amora companion is artificial intelligence, and none of them depict a real person. We say so on every profile, in the terms of service and inside the conversations themselves if you ask her directly.
